InBetween Breaths

I had intended to use the ‘About Me’ section of Blogger but realized how useless it was. I was practicing hard on the paragraphing and line spacing techniques that my essay-writing teacher had spent countless hours teaching me. And when I click on publish, I just got a whole chunk of words! What the f**k hell, I wanted to give up then and there. Isn’t it amusing that Blogger almost convinced me to stop blogging. How ironic can that get?

Anyway, yes, I do want to stop swearing by the time I’m 23. But I must make it clear, I’m NOT a foul-mouth ruffian. In fact, I probably swear only when I’m playing soccer, badminton or some sort of sports. I guess the swearing comes as a part of the package with the adrenaline. So not to worry, I am still a gentleman when I don’t do sports, problem is, Sports is on a 3 times per week basis!

The reason I want to start blogging was just that I wanted to read, learn and understand myself more in 10 years time. It was just this simple thought I had when I pounced on the losers’ bandwagon. Perhaps losing is not a bad thing after all, if I lose some of my time now, maybe I can reap my rewards in 10 years. We call this ‘Long Term Investment’ in school. So, this investment better be worthwhile because I’m rather risk-adverse and for all the time that I’m going to invest, Dao better make sure I see the pot of gold at the end of this rainbow. In addition, I am also unsure of the chances of me reneging. (For NON- Business students, this just means the event that one joins a queue and feels that the waiting time is too long and leaves the queue. For Business students, if you were reading the definition, you should probably spend some time reading your textbooks and less blogs.) At this moment, I guess I’ll probably be staying for a while but I don’t know about tomorrow, nobody knows…
